About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Hunter region. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with lived experience of mental health issues to achieve their goals and maintain their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores.
  • Accompany individuals on outings and activities, promoting socialization and skill development.
  • Support individuals to live independently in their homes, promoting autonomy and self-reliance.
  • Work collaboratively with key workers and other professionals to ensure a strengths-based and person-led approach to service delivery.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated interest in supporting individuals with mental health issues in the community.
  • Strong commitment to recovery-based practice and a willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Alignment with Flourish Australia's values and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Maintain a current Australian Driver's Licence.
