About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in assisting our clients to meet their goals as outlined in their NDIS plan. This includes providing intensive, flexible, and responsive support to help clients improve their physical and mental health, develop connections within the community, and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional support to clients, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, domestic assistance, social support, transportation, and community outings.
  • Develop and maintain connections with the community to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • A current Full Driver's License and own car.
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Experience in Manual Handling, bowel care, and challenging behaviors.
  • Previous experience in Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
  • Electric hoist experience.
  • Bowel Care (peristeen) experience.
  • Availability to work Monday and Tuesday 8:30am-12:30pm, with potential for a Monday to Friday shift.
