About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Northcott in Deniliquin. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals to develop and maintain their independence
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the disability sector
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with individuals and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Current Driver's Licence and Working With Children Check
