Job Description:

Deugro seeks a skilled Pricing Specialist to join our team in Perth or Brisbane. As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and delivering key commercial tender responses and proposals. You will support the Local and Regional Tender Management team by performing cost analysis, assigning and distributing tasks, and obtaining rates with carriers.

  • Develop and establish communication with foreign operations, carriers, and local customers
  • Build relationships with vendors, shippers, customers, carriers, and deugro overseas offices throughout the tendering process

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge in managing commercial and operational aspects in all major freight forwarding disciplines. They will possess strong commercial, technical, and financial acumen, as well as effective time management skills and ability to evaluate competing deadlines and prioritize workflow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge in managing commercial and operational aspects in all major freight forwarding disciplines
  • Good working knowledge of domestic and international geography, including countries, major cities, airports
  • Effective time management skills and capable to evaluate competing deadlines and prioritize workflow
  • Strong commercial, technical, and financial acumen
  • Strong organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign, control)
  • Possess knowledge and/or awareness of risk factors and be familiar with basic measures to manage and mitigate risk
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and PC skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, team focused and self-starter, eye for detail
  • MS Office experience: MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Vizio, MS Power Point, and other software/tools
