Job Title: ICT Customer Support Professional

Description:

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical assistance to NSW public schools and departmental offices, ensuring timely resolution of complex issues and continuous service enhancement.

This is a 12-month contract role commencing as soon as possible, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment. If you have experience in helpdesk support within the education sector, we encourage you to apply for this challenging position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve ICT incidents and issues via remote-support tools, telephone, and on-site support services.
  • Provide and maintain ICT support services in accordance with the Department's standards, policies, and operating procedures and agreed service levels.
  • Participate in the deployment, maintenance, and improvement of the Department's standardised ICT systems and solutions.
  • Offer operational and technical advice to NSW public schools and departmental offices in accordance with the Department's standardised ICT technologies, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Contribute to the improvement of ICT services to NSW public schools and Departmental offices through the escalation of relevant incidents, requests, and problems.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with Departmental protocols and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Current Driver's Licence with a good driving history record and willingness to travel as required.
  • 2 x Reference checks.
  • National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014.
  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
  • Rights to Work in Australia.
