ICT Support Position Overview

The ICT support specialist will be working closely with the ICT team to provide technical assistance and helpdesk services across the organization.

  • Respond to incoming support calls and resolve issues within set service level agreements using our call logging system
  • User administration, support, and management of Active Directory, JD Edwards, MS Office 365, MS Exchange Online, MS Teams, and other applications
  • Deployment, support, and repair of desktops and laptops
  • Administration and support for various peripheral devices
  • Deployment and support of handheld devices (including smartphones and other IOS devices)
  • Application installation, upgrades, configuration, and support
  • Troubleshooting connectivity and network issues (Cellular, Satellite, WiFi, LAN, VPN, xDSL, Fibre, NBN)
  • Organizing warranty and repairs for faulty devices
  • Purchasing, stock, and asset management using our asset management system

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong administrative, and troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and Microsoft Office 365 basic administration, and support experience, record keeping, and asset management experience.

This is an entry-level position that supports teams nationally through support calls, device administration, and deployment. The role is Sydney Newington based.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality ICT support services to internal stakeholders
  2. Administer and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
  3. Deploy and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  4. Provide application support and maintenance
  5. Troubleshoot complex technical issues
  6. Manage and maintain asset registers and purchasing systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative and troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and Microsoft Office 365
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL framework and service desk principles
  • Experience with asset management and purchasing systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
