About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented finance student to join our team as a Commercial Support Officer on a casual basis. As a Commercial Support Officer, you will provide administrative and general support to our team, working closely with our finance brokers and customers to facilitate their equipment finance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our Sales team, including Business Development Managers and Account Managers, to facilitate finance broker applications on behalf of their customers.
  • Support the Credit team in processing and decisioning customer applications efficiently.
  • Assist the Settlements team in reviewing and settling transactions.
  • Help brokers and customers with information requests as part of the Asset Lifecycle team.
  • Work collaboratively with Credit, Sales Operations, and Sales to accredit brokers and suppliers.
  • Assist in the implementation of new practices and programs to meet organisational and broker needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of marketing plans and promotions to brokers.
  • Communicate with brokers to assist them in their requirements or refer them to the appropriate department.
Requirements
  • Studying a finance-related degree (economics, commerce, business, accounting, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint, MSWord, and Excel
  • Ability to empathise with customers and deliver outstanding customer service
  • Good numerical, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Aptitude for taking on new initiatives and rolling your sleeves up
  • High level of organisation and administration skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders as well as work independently
