Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Commercial Director with day-to-day activities, ensuring seamless execution of commercial operations.
  • Review and analyze contract-related deliverables, commercial correspondence, and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Project Team to drive commercial success and achieve project objectives.
  • Provide expert input and advice during commercial and contract discussions, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Draft high-quality commercial documents for Commonwealth responses, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefs for the Director, DG, and HM, providing strategic recommendations and insights.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial support, with a strong background in contract management and procurement.
  • Active NV1 security clearance or above, with the ability to work in a Defence environment.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth procurement policies and Defence-specific commercial practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Completion of relevant Defence courses, such as ASDEFCON modules and Probity in Defence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
