Job Title: Pharmacy Imprest Technician

As a permanent part-time imprest pharmacy technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy and hospital wards. Your primary responsibilities will include replenishing stock levels, assisting customers with queries, and collaborating with hospital staff to ensure seamless delivery of medications.

Mater Hospital North Sydney boasts 223 beds, providing intensive care, cancer care, and surgery, orthopaedic, and rehabilitation wards, as well as a maternity unit.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Replenish ward imprest stock and maintain inventory levels in pharmacy and hospital
  • Assist customers with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff
  • Support efficient delivery of medications to clinical units
  • Contribute to maintaining all pharmacy storage areas through stock rotation, expiry date monitoring, cyclical stock counts, and general housekeeping
  • Support operational tasks for inventory management
  • Participate in other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties
