Logistics Operations Leader
The role of Logistics Operations Leader is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics team. This includes leading, coaching, and supporting frontline staff in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include managing labor, scheduling, and ensuring that daily KPIs are met. Additionally, you will be expected to champion best practices in freight handling, scanning accuracy, and compliance. Collaborating with stakeholders such as linehaul, PUD, and customer service teams will also be a vital part of this role.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of frontline or shift leadership experience (transport or logistics preferred)
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of warehouse and/or freight operations
- Familiarity with safety systems, risk management, and compliance
- Computer literacy and ability to work with scanning/RF devices
- Dangerous Goods awareness or willingness to obtain
