Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced operations supervisor to oversee daily shift operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy in every task.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient loading and unloading of linehaul trailers and containers, and the effective loading and unloading of PUD vehicles.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize Efficiency: Ensure trailers and units are loaded to full capacity, distribute freight accurately, and oversee all unloading activities.
  • Collaborate and Support: Work closely with senior managers to address concerns related to revenue, loads, and site operations.
  • Lead and Guide: Supervise team members, focusing on safety, scanning accuracy, and minimizing freight damage.
  • Monitor and Report: Keep a keen eye on revenue, load accuracy, costs, and service issues, and work towards providing effective solutions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain safe load procedures, adherence to regulations, and ensure equipment and resource efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven supervisory experience within the logistics industry.
  • Strong judgment skills with the ability to make firm and fair decisions.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Ability to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good time management skills.
