We are seeking a skilled and experienced air freight operations manager to lead our team in managing high volumes of inbound freight. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the air freight team, including receiving, putaway, and processing of air freight.">
  • Ensure accurate labour allocation to optimise efficiency and control costs.">
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff to maintain high standards and productivity.">
  • Manage compliance with Customs and AQIS regulations.">
  • Promote and enforce OH&S practices to maintain a safe working environment.">
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and meet client expectations.">

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

">
  • 2+ years' experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager role.">
  • Strong background in air freight or logistics environments.">
  • A current forklift licence and hands-on warehouse experience.">
  • Familiarity with bonded warehouse compliance and customs procedures.">
  • Proficiency in WMS and RF scanning systems.">
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.">
  • A safety-first mindset and the ability to lead by example.">
