About the role

As the Imports Operations Co-ordinator at International Delivery Service, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of freight and cargo for our customers. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to our customers across Australia and internationally.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaise with wharf operators, transport providers and customers to schedule and coordinate the pickup and delivery of containers and freight
  • Monitor the status of inbound and outbound shipments, advising any delays or issues that may arise
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to wharf cartage activities
  • Collaborate with the wider logistics team to ensure a seamless supply chain

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a freight forwarding, logistics or wharf cartage coordination role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues
  • Familiarity with transport regulations, customs procedures and documentation requirements
  • Proficient in the use of logistics management software and technology
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive, organised approach to work
