At Travel + Leisure Co, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional vacation experiences. We seek a skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our Port Douglas team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the resort. This role interacts with owners, guests, all resort departments, the community, and the corporate office as necessary. Key responsibilities include:

  • Motivating and inspiring the front office team
  • Directing and promoting good working relationships between resort departments, encouraging teamwork
  • Leading the recruitment, hiring, and training of all staff, to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
  • Assisting the Resort Manager with planning, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will have:

  • Proven management abilities
  • Availability and flexibility to meet with clients, including working weekend shifts and public holidays
  • Demonstrated experience in motivating, inspiring, training, coaching, and disciplining employees
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace
  • Ability to multitask and work productively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Resort Hospitality Management
