About the RoleThis is a full-time permanent position based at Melbourne Airport, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and development. As part of our regional safety advisory team, you'll work closely with business units to ensure regulatory compliance and deliver a proactive safety culture.
The focus of this role is to minimise or eliminate injuries to persons, damage to equipment, infrastructure, or the environment. You'll achieve this by:
- Developing and implementing effective safety strategies within large operational businesses
- Mitigating hazards and resolving relevant issues
We're looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline. Your experience in an HSE position should demonstrate a record of delivering improvement, and you'll have a proven ability to develop and implement safety strategies.
You'll also need to possess:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with staff, management, and regulators
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a positive, results-focused disposition
