Health Safety Manager Lead

We are seeking an experienced Health Safety Manager Lead to join our team at Healthcare Australia. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level and make a real difference in the lives of our customers.
About the Role:
- This is a leadership position that requires you to develop and implement health and safety strategies across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- You will be responsible for leading a team of WHS professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting, Systems & Insights- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive reports on health and safety performance, including incident analysis and root cause identification.
- Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a proactive approach to workplace health and safety.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans to improve health and safety performance, aligning with business objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to report incidents and near misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to senior leaders to promote a safety-first culture, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to health and safety, and promoting a culture of accountability among team members.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental science) or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing health and safety strategies, with a strong focus on leadership and team management.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive salary package, including benefits such as professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
