Our organization is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee the logistical structure of our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials, while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery and pick-up schedules
  • Monitor movement to meet operational demands and schedules
  • Promote a safe, positive work environment while maintaining alignment with company policies
  • Manage customer relations
  • Ensure all legislative requirements are met

The successful candidate will have a natural inclination to be a great leader, thriving on driving a culture of continuous improvement and supporting management to ensure a safe and smooth daily business operation.

About You
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, and allocations
  • Knowledge of transport regulations including Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility, and Mass and Maintenance under NHVR
  • Proficient user or transport systems and MS Office
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve overall objectives of a business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Energetic, passionate, and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement
  • Flexibility to take calls as required on weekends
  • Current Drivers Licence
