A leading meat and food producer seeks an experienced logistics professional to join their team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring a safe and smooth daily business operation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining operational efficiency by monitoring movement and coordinating with drivers and dispatchers.
  • Utilizing company assets and contractors in a cost-effective manner.
  • Managing customer relations while promoting a positive work environment.
  • Ensuring all legislative requirements are met, including transport regulations such as Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility, and Mass and Maintenance under NHVR.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in transport, logistics, refrigerated freight movements, and allocations.
  • Knowledge of transport systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve overall objectives of a business.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic, passionate, and enthusiastic with a focus on system improvement.
  • Flexibility to take calls as required on weekends.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
