Job Title: Batching and Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Batching and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is a critical role that requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating and batching concrete at our production plant in Ipswich.
  • This involves overseeing the operation of machinery and equipment used in the production process, ensuring accurate material dispensing, and maintaining consistent quality control.
  • The ideal candidate will also provide exceptional customer service, manage orders and stock effectively, and conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of batching machinery.
  • A C Class Driver's license is essential for this role, and prior experience in concrete plant operations or staff management would be highly desirable.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to communicate effectively with drivers via radio to coordinate deliveries and ensure seamless workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Batching and Allocation: Ensure accurate allocation and batching of materials at our production plant.
  • Machinery Operation: Oversee the operation of machinery and equipment used in the production process.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and manage orders efficiently.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of batching machinery.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate deliveries and ensure smooth workflow with drivers.

Requirements:

  • C Class Driver's License: Essential for this role.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in concrete plant operations or staff management highly desirable.
