The primary objective of this role is to oversee warehouse activities and ensure seamless coordination between different teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To coordinate warehouse operations, the successful candidate will be required to interact effectively with operations management, customer and supplier departments, and other support functions.
  • This role requires assistance in organizing headcount and overtime needs to meet production and delivery schedules.
  • A key responsibility of this position is to ensure on-the-job training and other training requirements are scheduled, completed, and documented.
  • This team leader will be responsible for assisting management in creating a focused team that drives continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a team leader or in a similar supervisory role is essential.
  • Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory management principles is highly desirable.
  • An exceptional commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is expected, including a passion for developing strong client relationships.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications, are necessary.
  • Logistics and warehousing experience, including 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider management, would be an asset.
  • Certification to operate forklifts and/or other warehouse machinery is mandatory.
