
Optimize Rail Industry Operations Specialist

This position involves working closely with clients to deliver expert support and consulting in transport software for the rail industry.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain a collaborative relationship with clients to map their operational data into our software framework.
- Develop and optimize transport models (e.g., crew rostering, shift planning).
- Lead the customer onboarding process: data ingestion, training, user support.
- Troubleshoot issues—especially in optimization modeling workflows.
- Provide ongoing user support to ensure client success.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of optimization tools and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- Experience in a customer-facing role—preferably within rail, transport modeling, logistics, or shift-planning.
- Comfortable interpreting data and delivering analytic insights with tools like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Aptitude for clear, personable communication (verbal and written).
- The ability to influence and manage client relationships.

- Flexible, hybrid schedule—2 days WFH and 3 days in our Brisbane office once you have completed onboarding.
