About the Role
This pivotal position requires an expert in transport infrastructure design markets with 20+ years' experience.
The successful candidate will have successfully managed multi-disciplinary projects, built trusting client relationships and produced excellent tender documents.
The role is based in Brisbane and involves leading a team of professionals to achieve operational and technical excellence in the rail sector.
- Effective planning and management of local team performance in line with business goals.
- Undertake client relationship management and business development activities.
- Provide project governance and project management to achieve reliable project performance.
- Offer leadership and development opportunities to employees to ensure cohesion and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a high-performing team of professionals.
- BUILDING TRUSTING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS through effective communication and project delivery.
- DELIVERING EXCELLENT PROJECTS on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- IDENTIFYING AND CAPITALISING ON BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES through proactive business development activities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE as a senior leader in the rail industry.
- EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- STRONG PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS with the ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
- A BROAD KNOWLEDGE OF THE RAIL INDUSTRY with a deep understanding of its challenges and opportunities.
