Business Growth Manager

The Business Growth Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our hotel business by identifying untapped market opportunities, fostering strong relationships with clients and partners, and strategically increasing revenue through proactive sales initiatives. This role will focus on growing MICE focused markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure new business and expand market share from existing accounts across Corporate, MICE, Groups, Sports & Entertainment clients.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop a comprehensive sales plan that includes strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives and maximize profits for the hotel.

  • Take a proactive and innovative approach to acquiring new business.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the property at conferences, tradeshows, networking events, familiarisations, sales missions and on-site inspections.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities and results to Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to ensure processes and productivity are continually improved to reach and exceed sales targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the hospitality/hotel/travel industry is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with high-profile corporate clients.
  • Advanced negotiation and closing abilities, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Proficient in strategic planning and executing business initiatives tailored to our esteemed hotel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify business opportunities.
  • High degree of professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and represent the brand at industry events.
