Movement Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking Movement Therapists to join our dynamic team, providing exercise programs for older adults, rehabilitation patients and those requiring palliative care.

This role will allow you to make a profound impact on the lives of individuals in aged care, rehabilitation and palliative care settings.

You'll design and implement evidence-based movement plans tailored for older adults, rehabilitation patients and those requiring palliative care.

You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes, enhance quality of life and support individuals on their healthcare journey.

From improving mobility in aged care residents to helping stroke patients regain independence, your expertise will directly transform lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement evidence-based movement plans for older adults, rehabilitation patients and those requiring palliative care.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes, enhance quality of life and support individuals on their healthcare journey.
  • Rotate through a number of clinical services, including Geriatrics and Rehabilitation.
Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, usually in human movements, inclusive of movement therapy elective and eligible for accreditation from relevant authorities.
