Occupational Therapist Leadership Role

This leadership role is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services and supporting the development of emerging clinicians.

The successful candidate will work across various settings, including community-based programs and activities, to support clients with sensory processing and movement needs, personal care, sleep, and independent living skills, assistive technology and home modifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload, providing tailored assessments and interventions that align with best practice standards.
  • Lead program planning, evaluation, and goal-setting in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Integrate services across disciplines to provide holistic, person-centred support.
  • Mentor and supervise occupational therapists, providing performance feedback and guidance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal staff and external partners.
  • Support student education and direct supervision where required.
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Expertise in occupational therapy interventions and adaptability to individual client needs.
  • Knowledge of inclusive practices and child- and family-centred approaches.
  • Experience working with complex client needs and mentoring colleagues.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate others.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
