About the Role

This position will play a key role in collaborating with all levels of management in implementing, monitoring, and reviewing organizational strategy to increase Buildsafe's footprint and brand within New South Wales, ensuring financial sustainability, profitability, and revenue growth. You will lead the NSW Sales team and the NSW State Operations Manager who oversees a passionate team of Branch Managers, to drive and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Execution - Execution of strategic operational business plan to ensure the business delivers within the national framework.
  • Operations Management - Ensuring day-to-day business activities are running effectively and liaison with internal Departments including Branches, Sales, HR, Compliance to drive business performance, efficiencies, and continuous improvement.
  • Business Development - Drive sales and brand for the overall profitability and growth of the business within the NSW region.
  • Financial Management - Budget Management, Capital and Product. Business forecasts, KPI targets, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Culture and People Management - Empower and motivate the team to achieve a shared sense of vision and promotion of Buildsafe Core Values, retention, and people growth.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead, engage, and empower a team.
  • Construction industry experience preferred, although not essential.
  • Recent extensive Senior Management experience.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic, and analytical thinker.
  • Strategic economic planning/forecasting skills.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • The ability to demonstrate agility and adaptability in line with the business growth.
