
Administrative Support Specialist: Employee Experience

The Business Administrator role is a key position in our organization, responsible for supporting the operation of our care home. The successful candidate will work alongside another administrator and our General Manager to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support.
This role encompasses a range of duties, including employee onboarding, payroll management, training, compliance, and recruitment activities. The Business Administrator will also be responsible for managing annual and sick leave in the rosters, ensuring a seamless experience for our employees.
Additionally, this role involves providing prospective residents and their families with a warm and welcoming introduction to our care home, handling enquiries and coordinating admissions. The Business Administrator will be the primary point of contact for customer service, ensuring that our residents and their families receive the highest level of service.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will require:
- Patience and a calm demeanor, particularly when interacting with worried families or confused residents.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to diplomatically handle sensitive situations.
- Intermediate to advanced skills across the MS Office Suite.
- Previous experience in a similar admin/customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of rostering, payroll, and general HR functions, including recruitment.
