We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fintech Graduate Financial Analyst to join our Finance division in Sydney.

About the Role

As a Fintech Graduate Financial Analyst, you will gain experience in financial accounting and management accounting across our Financial Control and Business Performance & Analytics teams. You will work closely with senior leaders to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights to support business strategy.

You will be responsible for:

  • Involvement in the monthly financial accounting and consolidation process, including posting journals, performing reconciliations, and preparing various financial calculations;
  • Coding of invoices and preparing prepayment schedules;
  • Preparing calculations to invoice clients and following up payments;
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly performance results and CFO reports, as well as quarterly, interim, and annual financial reports and disclosures for release to the ASX;
  • Assisting in tax compliance activities, including BAS returns, income tax returns, and regulatory requirements;
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by the business.

About You

To be eligible for this role, you should have recently completed (or be close to completing) an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in accounting or a related field. You should have a genuine desire for a career in accounting within the financial services industry and be motivated to obtain a CA/CPA qualification.

You should also possess strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
