Job Overview

RSM is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for our clients.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chief Financial Analyst at RSM, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;
  • Applying knowledge of the business environment within which our clients are operating and how they are positioned in their industry;
  • Assisting graduates with work and acting as a mentor/buddy;
  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards;
  • Preparing documents for client meetings with Partners;
  • Helping identify, research and resolve complex accounting issues;
  • Preparing and analyzing management accounting reports;
  • Preparing income tax returns and providing advice on various tax matters including GST, capital gains tax and fringe benefits tax; and
  • Providing general business advisory advice and support to a wide range of client groups.

Education Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting Major;
  • Completion of CA or equivalent qualifications.
