About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support the origination and execution of structured finance transactions in the energy & renewables sector across Australia and New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have experience at senior Analyst or Associate level and possess strong financial modelling skills using Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial models supporting advisory mandates, including creating and running financial scenarios and sensitivities.
  • Interrogate financial models for financing mandates, including creating and running sensitivities and checking integrity.
  • Review and supervise financial modelling tasks undertaken by junior staff, and complete complex modelling tasks as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments across sectors, particularly the energy & renewables sector, and current transactions and opportunities in the market.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Law) or a professional financial qualification.
  • Post-graduate qualifications considered favourably.
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience at senior Analyst or Associate level, preferably in energy & renewables finance or another structured finance environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including strong financial modelling capabilities.
