Digital Transformation Business Analyst – Financial Services

We are seeking a skilled Digital Transformation Business Analyst to join our team in driving digital product initiatives that enhance customer experiences and improve operational efficiency within the banking/financial services sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis, with a focus on financial services or fintech. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to gather and document clear, comprehensive business requirements for new digital products or enhancements to existing products.
- Product Roadmap Support: Collaborate with product managers to define and prioritize features for digital products based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Process Analysis & Optimization: Analyze current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analysis and reporting to guide decision-making and assess the impact of new product features or improvements.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure that digital products and features adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, especially within financial services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital product development, with a focus on financial services or fintech.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including banking, trust management, or investment products.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum + benefits.
