Network Planning Lead

This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic planning and development of the subtransmission network.

  • The successful candidate will conduct detailed analysis of network constraints and develop augmentation or support options.
  • Detailed analysis will involve using simulation tools and providing technical advice.

The position requires a degree-qualified electrical engineer with extensive experience in network planning and asset management.

  • Possess strong understanding of National Electricity Rules, regulatory frameworks and energy markets.
  • Proficient in PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD; Python programming highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have experienced in economic assessments, bushfire compliance and stakeholder engagement.

  • Able to lead complex projects, simplify technical concepts and deliver strategic outcomes.
