About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team at Hays Recruitment. As a key member of our People & Culture Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive recruitment strategy that enhances and improves the candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality, end-to-end recruitment practices to attract and select top talent.
  • Offer expert advice to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy, emphasizing outstanding candidate experience.
  • Create and apply recruitment standards based on data analysis and emerging trends, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Coordinate tailored recruitment and attraction strategies for critical or hard-to-fill positions.
  • Plan and execute national and international recruitment campaigns to enhance brand awareness and attract applicants.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including performance reviews, collaborating with commercial entities to negotiate terms, and addressing performance issues or breaches of agreement.
  • Develop and implement initiatives aligned with EVP, covering recruitment, marketing, campaign planning, early talent acquisition, and talent pipelines.
  • Lead specific projects and policy development as required.
  • Provide expert consultation, coaching, and support to enhance recruitment capabilities within the People & Culture Team.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Postgraduate tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, and/or extensive experience and proven success leading a full life cycle of talent acquisition activities.
  • Ability to make and influence decisions, actions, or perceptions of others and to be straightforward and honest when doing so.
  • Ability to investigate, identify, and analyze key issues and the associated alternative, benefits, and costs to develop practical solutions.
  • Be creative and innovative when developing effective solutions and the ability to manage related risks.
  • An understanding of when a decision needs to be escalated to others and working to try to identify and address potential problems before they arise.
  • Ability to organize and present information, views, and concepts in a concise, understandable, and interesting format for a variety of audiences.
  • Experience in building recruitment strategies is essential.
