About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Bechtel Oil, Gas & Chemicals Incorporated. As a key member of our APAC TA team, you will play a critical role in shaping our recruiting strategy and driving success for our West Coast Operations & Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Life-Cycle Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process for candidates, including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Maintain excellent communication with candidates, business leaders, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Search & Sourcing: Develop unique search strategies across various functions and disciplines, including research to identify target companies and talent based on needs.
  • Candidate Engagement: Develop talent prospects into active candidates through effective candidate attraction, engagement, and evaluation, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Networking: Build talent networks and leverage industry sources to develop external talent pipelines.
  • Strategy: Provide strategic guidance and advice to business leaders and stakeholders on talent market and search strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR and internal TA team members to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment strategy and process.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a senior-level recruitment role, ideally with strategic sourcing, candidate engagement, and employer branding.
  • Significant experience with full life-cycle executive recruiting process and best practices.
  • Prior experience in passive sourcing techniques and assessing talent, with a preference for behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, analytical, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively for solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of functional organizations, matrix structure, and global organizational culture.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously with tight deadlines.
  • Working rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
