About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to perform bank reconciliation, generate accounting reports using XERO, MYOB, and Quickbooks, and prepare individual and company tax returns. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing a business activity statement, communicating with clients and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), and performing day-to-day account administrator tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Generate accounting reports using XERO, MYOB, and Quickbooks to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Prepare individual and company tax returns to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare a business activity statement to report on the company's financial activities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the ATO to resolve any queries or issues.
  • Perform day-to-day account administrator tasks, including phone calls, email management, filing, documentation, and customer service.
