
Lead Behavioural Coach

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Support Teacher to join our team.
The successful applicant will display a strong understanding of Positive Behaviour 4 Learning (PB4L) and demonstrate leadership capacities in coaching and implementing appropriate programs to support increased positive behaviour.
The Support Teacher will build staff capacity in the levels of teaching response through the implementation of universal supports, while monitoring targeted and personalized support across the school.
Main Responsibilities:- Display a strong understanding of PB4L and lead in coaching and implementing positive behaviour programs.
- Enhance staff skills in teaching response levels and universal supports.
- Oversee targeted and personalized support across the school.
- Implement universal classroom management strategies and work with teachers using a coaching approach.
- Provide Tier 2 supports (check-in/check-out, social skills, clubs, mentoring) and assist with Tier 3 supports.
- Participate in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 teams, and collaborate with the Leadership Team to support student behaviour and teacher capacity.
To be successful in this role, you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:
- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus experience using the Australian Curriculum in a flexible manner to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
- Proven ability to oversee and deliver a range of processes, including enrolment transitions, and mapping and planning functions to support inclusive education practices.
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes.
- Have a commitment to Safeguarding.
