Chief IT Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief IT Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Aspirante. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for IT roles across government departments, agencies, and projects within Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with government clients to understand their needs and align recruitment strategies with departmental goals.
- Talent Acquisition: Identify, engage, and assess IT professionals with skills relevant to government sector roles, focusing on project management, cybersecurity, data analysis, and software development.
- Candidate Management: Guide candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to interview preparation and post-placement support.
- Market Expertise: Stay up-to-date on market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices within the IT government sector.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to government recruitment protocols and prepare timely reports for both clients and internal stakeholders.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive remuneration package including an estimated salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, bonuses, and commission structure based on performance. You will also have access to ongoing training, development, and career advancement within a supportive team.
Requirements:- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within IT and/or the public sector.
- Knowledge of the Queensland Government Landscape: Familiarity with government processes, procurement frameworks, and the public sector hiring landscape is highly desirable.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, both written and verbal.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with recruitment software and digital sourcing tools, with a good understanding of IT roles and technical skills.
- Adaptability: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and a client-first mindset.
