At ASIC, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the Information Analyst role.
Job DescriptionThe Information Analyst will be responsible for providing actionable intelligence to stakeholders through the analysis and summarization of complex data. This involves conducting national searches across various intelligence sources, meeting strict timeframes, and liaising with external agencies to access confidential information.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in law enforcement, legal, accounting, financial services, or government. They should possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in using multiple software systems, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct complex national searches across ASIC's intelligence sources.
- Provide tactical intelligence to enforcement and regulatory teams.
- Analyse and summarise data into accurate, actionable intelligence reports.
- Liaise with external agencies to access confidential information under existing agreements and MoUs.
- Maintain records of all searches to support reporting and compliance audits.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in law enforcement, legal, accounting, financial services, or government.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to apply legislation and procedures.
- Proficiency in using multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
