Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Specialist to support our Property and Asset Services across Australia.

This is a permanent full-time position based at a defence base in the Northern Territory.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining spatial data documentation across multiple bases, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and integrity of spatial information.

Key responsibilities include developing and updating estate upkeep and land management spatial planning, overseeing barcode label management and operational and maintenance manual records, and managing drawing file storage, uploading, and downloading.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Spatial Sciences, Geography, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in geospatial data management and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in GIS software and other geospatial data management tools.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects, preferably within a defence context.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
