Senior Water Data Specialist

The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking a professional to join its Water Section to help shape the next chapter of water data priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, be open to innovation and new ways of working, and actively support a collaborative environment that enables everyone to participate.
We are looking for someone who understands the value of water data in informing national priorities, thrives in partnership environments, and is adept at translating complex information into meaningful insights.
- Contribute to national water data priorities that improve information availability.
- Work closely with other Commonwealth Government agencies to support effective water information sharing across domains.
- Coordinate activities across the Bureau to enhance water reporting capabilities.
- Ensure the best water information outcomes through collaboration within the Bureau, focusing on water information reporting.
- Lead the development of water information products and services, including the National Water Account.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to deliver impactful water information solutions.
