Job Overview

The Commercial Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and commercial success for the company's online sports betting business.

This position requires an individual with strong analytical skills, a keen interest in the gaming and entertainment industry, and the ability to collate data into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will possess a commercially-minded approach, with expertise in market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and industry activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive research on betting markets, consumer trends, and industry developments across key regions.
  • Develop models and frameworks to analyse market trends and project revenue growth opportunities.
  • Support new product development and market entry initiatives through feasibility studies and market-fit analysis.
  • Review and summarise industry publications, key bulletins, analyst reports, and economic data relevant to sports betting and iGaming.
  • Assist in compiling evidence and research for licence applications and regulatory submissions.
  • Provide analytical support to the broader commercial team, including performance dashboards, KPI tracking, and ROI analyses.
  • Assist in review and negotiation of key commercial contracts, including reviewing supplier performance, contract renewals, service levels, and costs analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, law, data analytics, finance, or accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex data into short commercial insights.
  • Strong research and data collating capabilities, with demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the online sports betting or gaming industries and their commercial frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data storage and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Quicksight, Excel, and PowerPoint.
