We're seeking an experienced Planning and Resource Analyst to join our team in NSW.

About the Role

This is a key opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing processes and has a strong background in operations of a large retail or transport environment.

The successful candidate will support the Strategic Workforce Planning Manager in analysing commercial viability of roster builds, identifying areas of opportunities, and advising Resource Planners.

  • Lead time and motion studies, identify efficiencies through data analysis, advise operations on changes required, assist resource planning activities, forecast plan and roster resources to meet operational requirements.
  • Support the execution of the strategy implementation plan to achieve the centre's strategic objectives.
  • Maintain the resource planning system as a business super user to ensure accurate system data reflection.
About You and Your Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of labour scheduling experience.
  • VBA experience advantageous.
  • Ability to work with large datasets.
  • Strong experience using Excel & PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track record in reporting commercially and scheduling in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to influence and communicate with site leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a team where they consult and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to utilise key financial data and operational metrics to drive performance improvements and outcomes.
  • Ability to execute a strategic vision.
