We are seeking an experienced Wellbeing Team Leader to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our wellbeing team, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care and support to residents, enhancing their overall wellbeing and quality of life.
Main Responsibilities:- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of Wellbeing Coordinators to ensure high-quality service delivery and an exceptional resident experience
- Program Development: Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of wellbeing programs and activities tailored to individual resident needs and preferences
- Team Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, providing guidance, coaching, and support to your team members
- Collaboration: Collaborate with nursing, allied health, and other care staff to develop and implement holistic care plans
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant aged care regulations, policies, and procedures
- A certified qualification in Leisure & Health (desirable)
- Experience in a similar Wellbeing Team Leader or Lifestyle Coordinator role within the aged care sector
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and a commitment to enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life for older people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues
- Proficiency in developing and implementing engaging wellbeing programs and activities
- Familiarity with aged care regulations, standards, and best practices
