Job Description

The Environmental Strategy Coordinator will lead a small team within the Sustainability and Resilience Team with a dedicated focus on developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability, waste and circular economy or resilience strategies aligned with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy development and implementation for sustainability, waste and circular economy or resilience initiatives.
  • Provide leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing work environment.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with senior leadership, employees, NGOs, government agencies, industry groups, and community organisations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in sustainability, waste and circular economy or resilience leadership roles, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing relevant strategies and initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of environmental, social, and economic sustainability and resilience issues, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders towards shared goals.
