Job Summary:

We are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Coordinator to oversee a Solar Farm project in the Mudgee area of NSW, focusing on environmental management and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor the environmental management strategy, cultural heritage plan, and biodiversity management plan to ensure minimal impact on the environment.
  • Maintain compliance with client requirements, laws, and regulations by conducting regular inspections, audits, and providing relevant information for reporting statistics.
  • Deliver educational sessions and toolbox talks to enhance staff knowledge on environmental best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the HSE Manager to develop and implement the Work Health and Safety plan, ensuring a safe working environment for all stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Postgraduate degree or diploma in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Detailed understanding of environmental impact assessments (EIA) and their applications.
  • Proven experience in environmental auditing, document management, and data analysis.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work with various software applications.
  • Australia work visa or citizenship is mandatory.
