The company seeks a Sustainability Manager to develop and implement environmental and sustainability strategies, ensuring alignment with group and Australian objectives.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

- Acting as a principal contact point for environment and sustainability matters;
- Providing subject matter expertise on Environmental & Sustainability management topics;
- Mentoring and leading the business HSE team to execute on group and Australian environmental sustainability strategies;
- Developing sustainability competence and capability across all levels of the business;
- Championing change and collaboration on environment and sustainability matters.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements with flexibility to be based out of Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Key qualifications include:

- Tertiary qualifications in Environment Science or similar;
- Minimum 5-7 years experience leading environmental sustainability management in industries such as water, air emissions, waste, energy, hazardous regulated substances, biodiversity, and soil/groundwater pollution;
- Experience working with international teams;
- Experience working in large complex multi-national organisations;
- Deep understanding of Environment & WHS regulation across all Australian States;
- Inspiring leadership skills to coach and motivate.
