Come and join our team on MTMS as an Environmental Coordinator and help us maintain our environmental standards while delivering successful projects. Here are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:

- Key Accountabilities:

- Coordinate and implement project environmental programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and contractual obligations.
- Provide guidance on environmental matters to internal stakeholders.
- Support the development, implementation and ongoing management of project environmental management systems.
- Liaise with government bodies and professional organizations on environmental matters as required.
- Ensure comprehensive environmental records are maintained and provide regular reports on environmental performance, compliance and defects.
- Initiate and communicate improvements to corporate and project environmental management processes.
- Promote a positive environmental culture across the project and within John Holland.
- Identify and initiate local environmental improvement initiatives.
- Undertake field monitoring and manage environmental consultants.
- Provide training and support on environmental matters to project staff.

Key Requirements:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated disciplines.
- Certificate IV in Environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in construction environment management.
- Knowledge of compliance and reporting procedures and processes.
- Expertise in environmental management techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of low level incident investigations and risk management procedures.
- Ability to report environmental performance, compliance, defects and non-compliance.
- Training and facilitation experience to run small groups/workshops.
