Front Office Manager Role

Oaks Hotels & Resorts is one of Australasia's largest apartment style accommodation providers, managing a portfolio of over 55 properties across five countries.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office team at our resort. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years previous Front Office experience and supervisory experience gained in a similar role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and training the team to provide outstanding guest welcomes and experiences. They will also ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner, conduct guest arrivals and departures, and resolve and respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Act as a role model, sharing expertise and continually inspiring the team.
  • Ensure daily operations are conducted efficiently and effectively;
  • Coordinate guest arrivals and departures;
  • Provide personalized and proactive guest service;
  • Resolve and respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts and manage cash handling;
  • Support the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years previous Front Office experience.
  • Supervisory experience gained in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • A high level of self-motivation and confidence.
