Pediatric Speech Pathology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team at Flinders Medical Centre. The successful candidate will be accountable for planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating pediatric speech pathology services provided to inpatients and outpatients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide acute speech pathology assessments and management of complex clinical cases, including the use of instrumental investigations such as FEES and videofluoroscopy when clinically indicated.
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operation of pediatric speech pathology services at FMC.
- Provide advice to management on professional service development, practice, and redesign in response to demand and client needs.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and training to other members of the team.
- Participate in teaching and training of speech pathology students on clinical placement.
- A minimum of [ salary $104,180.00 - $111,746.00 (Pro Rata) ] per annum.
- An experienced pediatric speech pathologist with skills in the clinical management of pediatric feeding and dysphagia.
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an independent manner with limited supervision.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
