Brisbane-based Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Student Support Professional to play a vital role in enhancing the student experience and improving retention and success at our institution.

  • Provide guidance and support to students focusing on their wellbeing and academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with students and staff to identify individual support needs and contribute to the retention and attainment of current students.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal service providers to ensure timely and accurate referral information to students.
  • Support student engagement, well-being and cultural needs through special events and educational workshops.
  • Participate in student Orientation programs during O'Week.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in English with excellent grammar, academic writing, and presentation skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (essential) or previous experience in a similar student support role desirable.
  • High organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Self-motivation and team work skills.
